News Anchor: "Last night, around 1:00 am, in the town of Mapleton, Daniel Dugow called the police, reporting that he had heard loud screams from his neighbours house. Daniel had believed that there was a fight going on between his neighbors, Peter and Cynthia Conners. The two had a history of multiple domestic violence disputes in the past..."
Daniel Dugow: "What I heard was two blood curdling screams, along with what sounded like slams. As if somebody had just body slammed the wall. It wasn't the first time Pete and Cyndy had broken into a fight. They'd scream, throw plates, and cause all kinds of ruckus. So, I called the police and told them I was afraid for their son's sake more than anything. They had no right to put that poor boy in jeopardy like that..."
Officer Chuck Andrews: "This wasn't the first time I had been called out here to the Conners' house. They had had a few disputes in the past. They would have a few too many drinks, and get in an argument over something or another, and one thing would lead to the next and we'd have to come down and break them up..."
News Anchor: "But, what the police found when they arrived at the scene nearly half an hour later was far worse than a simple domestic dispute..."
Officer Chuck Andrews: "When we arrived at the house, everything was quiet. We knocked on the door a few times, but nobody answered. We went around back and found their back door was left opened, so we decided to investigate. We found Peter and Cynthia's bodies in the bedroom, both badly bruised. It looked like somebody had just picked them up and threw them. They had broken necks and various other broken bones. The walls were damaged, obvious signs of a struggle. There was nothing taken from the house, so it wasn't a robbery. Whoever did this wanted them dead."
Daniel Dugow: "It's just shocking. I know a lot of people didn't care for Pete and Cynthia, but they never did anything to warrant this. I can't imagine who would want the Conners' dead."
Officer Chuck Andrews: "As for their son, Morgan, there was no sign of him. We can't rule out the possibility of a kidnapping."

News Anchor: "Morgan Conners is ten years old, white, stands at around four feet tall, has black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen at 125th Meridian road in Mapleton, North Dakota in the front yard watching fireworks and was believed to have been home when the assault on his parents happened, July 5th, around 1:00 am. If anybody has any details regarding his disappearance or the deaths of Peter and Cynthia Conners, please contact authorities immediately."
