Information
Born to upper crust Italian family, Vincent was supposed to follow in his fathers footsteps, take over the business. Things didn't work out that way, as he was a rebellious youth, running away from home at the age of fifteen, living off the credit cards his family had given him, using them to purchase other pre-loaded cards to keep his location away from them. The young lad traveled the world, seeing the highs and lows of humanity. He backpacked across europe, sailed in china, walked across australia. He lived or at least, well enough for his standards. He saw the cruelty of humanity as well, but as a young kid with no goals for himself he just let it go.
One day while in Achorage, Alaska, he happened across a shop, televisions for cheap. The newstory caught his eye though. "Vincent Arrigio has been hospitalized suffering a heart attack, the media mogul was at his office when discovered by the cleaners. His wife, son and daughter could not be reached for comment". Needless to say he headed home, buying a plane ticket that day. He didn't get home in time though, his father suffered a second heart attack and died four hours befoe he got there. In the aftermath, he learned his father had been keeping tabs on him, staying late at the office to ensure the finances on the credit cards were paid, making sure those paid to follow him kept him out of trouble. That time he was almost shot in Belize, some stranger had tripped him and knocked him down an alleyway. His father, even though Vincent had been a dumb kid and ran away, was cared for and watched.
His sister blamed him, his mother encouraged him to do better. He was lost, They had enough money, and his mother could easily manage the media companies their family owned, but Vincent felt hollow. A prodigal son, whom had failed. He broke down, not knowing what to do, what he could do, what his father wanted. In his hysteria, he smashed his hand against the concrete pillars outside the house, and broke it. The concrete and mortar cracking through their walls and flying across the street into the parked car of their neighbor, which knocked that car another twenty feet. Looking at his unscathed fist, the path of destruction before him, he didn't know what to do, was this what his father knew about him, was this truly his capabilities?
Doing the only thing he knew he was capable of, he fled, running far into the desert of Arizona. He spent a year out there, testing himself, pushing his limits, figuring out how to control what he thought he could do, and learning it was much more then that. It was during this year, that FEMA and local seismologist's registered some of the highest surface quakes in local time in the desert that year. With a goal in his mind, a new found purpose, Vincent wondered how he could express it. It was one day in New York that the answer came to him, a subway train had derailed and was about to land in the streets where a small market had been set up. Many families waking about, all the screaming as the horrifying sound of metal twisting and breaking and the wait for the impact and explosion.
But it never came, what followed was the first time anyone had witnessed the man they simply called Titan. Dressed in a black suit with a tie, shaggy hair on his face, sunglasses and spiked hair, holding the train up, and softly setting it down on the concrete before getting the rest of it safely down. No words spoke, Vincent simply did it and left.
And so the legend began.
