Character Nationality: mostly american partially russian
Character Age: 19

Character Personality: She tends to attempt to stay in the background, never wanting the spotlight or any main roles, though that isn't to say she always follows rules, but when she doesn't it's not generally for attention. she likes to be by herself but not because she's anti-social, just that she likes to choose who she associates herself with. when she does choose to associate with someone she feels strongly about their wellbeing. 

Character Hometown: Born in russia, she spent little over 8 years there with her mother before leaving to live with her father in california. recently her mother had become ill and her father left his job in order to maintain the property and take care of her mother. After her visit she now returns to LA without her parent's blessing in order to return to the school she dreamed of going to.

Character Job or lifestyle: She's learning to be a theatrical technician with hopes of expanding from there.

Character Affiliation: UCLA Theater and various online communities

Character biography: Alice grew up in a wealthy household from a mix of her father being some corporate ceo something or other and her mother's side being minor political figures in russia, she rarely got to actually spend much time with them and was always given extra schooling in hopes that she would make them proud, though this only pushed her further away from them and made her more rebellious to them in general. she is also taking courses in business and politics only because that was the deal she made her parents to have them pay for her to get a degree.

She hopes to finish her schooling and somehow make her parents proud. She wishes she was closer to them but lost near all hope that that would happen. she is continuing her extra courses though mostly so she can continue with her chosen school.

Power(s): Power Mimic, can copy the powers of those in her 50 meter vicinity. Then if the mutant she is copying leaves that 50 meter vicinity she can hold onto that power for 5 minutes with full force, and then for another 5 minutes as the power slowly diminishes away and loses strength, to be completely faded at the 10 minute mark.

Reasons for Approval: She currently has no knowledge of this ability therefore she will go through trying events to build character and story.

Once she learns of her power she requires mutants to be within her vicinity to mimic their powers. A maximum range of 50 meters, or 150 ft.

If the mutant she is copying leaves that 50 meter vicinity she can hold onto that power for 5 minutes with full force, and then for another 5 minutes as the power slowly diminishes away and loses strength, to be completely faded at the 10 minute mark.

What use is this approval to the character’s story? no knowledge of the abilities so no motivation to use them at all, if by chance she did have knowledge she wouldn't really know what to do with it.

What will you do to not abuse this approval? the weaknesses she faces is that her ability to copy powers is latent so she has no experience with it and any ability she would eventually copy would be completely new to her as well and would have to figure out how to work with it. she's not entirely useful by herself either since powers wouldn't tend to stay long after she's left the presence of whomever she was copying it from until she develops her powers adequately.

What use is this approval to the character’s story? I feel these powers will help build her background and story further as she goes through the experiences of how to cope.

What will you do to not abuse this approval? Other than previously stated. it's not a natural defence unless she happens to be near someone with a natural defence at that time.
