Powers and Mutant Level
Profile Link: [Link]
Character Name: John Doe
Power(s): Psionics, Major Telekinesis, Minor Telepathy (surface thoughts or intentions), Immune to Telepathic Attacks, Thought Probing, and Mind Control.
Reasons for Approval: His story allows him to be a conduit for any story that the other staff members decide to include him in, because of his history. Whatever they decide the source of his powers and history is, this creates great story for the character as well as others.
What use is this approval to the character’s story? The character wishes to understand where he got his powers from, who he is, and what life did he lose becoming who he is now. Which as I previously stated creates amazing story possibilities.
What will you do to not abuse this approval? Cannot create psionic constructs or weapons. Telekinesis is a hammer not a precision tool meaning he can only throw objects, blast people away, create a wall of force, he cannot currently operate guns, weapons;or perform actions requiring fine motor skills like piloting with his telekinesis. His Telepathy is not focused enough to pierce deep into minds or even to control minds, he can only read surface thoughts and intentions, and only against those who do not understand how to psychically shield their mind. His telepathy is more focused towards defensive capabilities, while he is immune to Telepathic assaults and attacks, it also means friendlies are incapable of making a psychic link with him. Which is another reason why Telepaths cannot just read his mind to figure out who he is, was, or what happened to him. Therefore, his Telepathic defenses also limit his ability to regain his memories.
Mutant Level: Alpha now, possibly Omega if he ever learns the extent of his powers.
Reasons for Approval: The approval is appropriate to his powers as well as his story.
What use is this approval to the character’s story? The character wants to find out who he is, and is willing to go the distance to find out. However much he wants to know who he is, he will do what he can to help human and mutant alike along the way.
What will you do to not abuse this approval? The character genuinely wants to help people, because he presumes that not only is it the right thing to do, but that maybe the reason he lost his memories and is who is now was because of bad choices he made in his past. He doesn’t want or need to prove his power to anyone, he just wants to live happily, help others live happily and maybe figure out who he is eventually.
