Character Name: John Doe
Character Nationality: Caucasian, otherwise unknown.
Character Hometown: Crossroads, Kentucky.
Character Age: Presumed to be in his late 30’s or early 40’s.
Character Job or lifestyle: Works as a bouncer for The Crossroads Tavern.
Character Affiliation: None, or none known.
Character Personality: He’s quiet and contemplative, not quick to warm up to people at first. Generally, to those he knows he is a nice guy, the sort of salt of the earth caring people everyone loves. He will come pick you up if your stranded in the middle of the night, or rescue you from jail with no questions asked but generally a joking smile. His lack of memories of his previous life leave him not knowing who he was or where he has been so he tends to live in the moment rather than stressing about the unknown.
Character Biography: Five years ago he awoke on a hospital bed. The hospital had said they found him bleeding out on their doorstep one year earlier. After the doctors had done everything they could to save him, he still fell into a coma. Miraculously a year later he awoke, with no memories of who he was, where he was from, or anything about himself. All he had was his nightmares, that where never quite clear with their painted pictures and hidden images.
Over the years after his release he realized that he had extraordinary powers, powers beyond normal human understanding, or their capabilities. Unsure of what he was capable of, he found a home outside of town, an old beaten up barn. That had been from a farm that had once existed and now was mostly burned down. It was on this small patch of earth that he practiced his craft, hoping that by understanding what he was capable of, it would lead him towards finding the truth of who he was.
Even now, years later he still searches through the internet and newspapers for others like himself. Wondering if maybe he could find someone else like him; maybe he would find the answers he is looking for.
Power(s): Psionics, Major Telekinesis, Minor Telepathy (surface thoughts or intentions), Immune to Telepathic Attacks, Thought Probing, and Mind Control.
Cannot create psionic constructs or weapons. Telekinesis is a hammer not a precision tool meaning he can only throw objects, blast people away, create a wall of force, he cannot currently operate guns, weapons or perform actions requiring fine motor skills like piloting with his telekinesis. His Telepathy is not focused enough to pierce deep into minds or even to control minds, he can only read surface thoughts and intentions, and only against those who do not understand how to psychically shield their mind. His telepathy is more focused towards defensive capabilities, while he is immune to Telepathic assaults and attacks, it also means friendlies are incapable of making a psychic link with him. Which is another reason why Telepaths cannot just read his mind to figure out who he is, was, or what happened to him. Therefore, his Telepathic defenses also limit his ability to regain his memories.
Mutant Level: Alpha now, possibly Omega if he ever learns the extent of his powers.
