Character Job or lifestyle: Upper middle-class parents usually help keep the ends over-met while he's living by himself in LA. Works part-time doing IT, full-time student at UCLA.
Character Personality: Ken's the nicest guy you ever wanted to meet. While usually he prefers to keep out of the spotlight and go about unnoticed, he's a pretty fun guy once he's comfortable with someone. On the other hand, he's pretty confident in his abilities when it's something he's good at, and while he usually does a great job being modest, the competitive side in him can sometimes bring out the beast against tough competition.
Character Biography: Born Kenneth Woodcrest to a pair of loving non-mutant parents, Ken's life was very normal in comparison to other mutants. In fact, the entirety of his memories until his recent adolescence were spent like any other non-mutant kid. He rode bikes in the summer, went on trips and made friends wherever he could. Nothing out of the ordinary occured, and even into middle school his life was mostly normal. High school was mostly a repeat of the latter until he turned 17, a fresh senior at the start of a new year. Two months into the semester, a terrible-feeling bout of the fever would end with him hospitalized and fighting for his life.
He'd contracted a bad case of meningitis that had been caught at the last minute before it was recognized for what it was. In spite of the doctors doing all they could, they all thought Ken would probably die at the rate he was going. Death would have to wait, unfortunately, as soon his fate would change as his dormant mutant genes would activate and prompt a miraculous recovery. His recovery would leave medical teams dumbfounded, but soon that was put behind him and he resumed his life. Eventually he'd become aware of certain powers of his that would manifest at random. While at first he did his best to ignore them, it soon became clear that it was something he'd need to control.
He only recently began to take his powers seriously, which unfortunately leaves him pretty mediocre at controlling the. While he's focused a bit For the most part though, Ken's just triyng his best at balancing have a normal life and training his powers in secret, all the while not getting caught in the process.
